There's just something about Thursdays in the summer that get me through the whole week! The weather last night was much more comfortable than Memorial weekend and the night was so enjoyable! I got to the track early knowing it was going to be a Full House and I had to get my Seat. I always have to sit in the same spot. It didn't take long for the smell of Als French Fries and Fried dough to make me hungry and of course I had to get some good food for dinner!

Post time was 6:30 and Flying Tigers officially started off the night with Qualifying rounds. After all the Qualifying rounds were complete, the first Feature of the night was a 25 Lapper ran by the Allen Lumber Street Stock Division. Hardwick local #38 Greg Adams started 4th and put up a great fight trying to claim his First career win at the Road. However, after many cautions, restarts, a 6 car pile-up on the Front stretch and himself bouncing off the wall, he lost his 3rd place position and finished 10th.

Late Models were up second with 3 Cautions in the first half of the race alone! Former King of the Road, Chris Michaud in the #6 found himself over the Turn 3 hill. Later in the race the #7 of Eric WIlliams tried to go 3 wide to take 8th but failed and finished 10th. It was a battle at the end between the 75 of Pete Fecteau and 16 of Joey Becker for 5th and in the end Fecteau got the spot. Father and Son pair Dennis and Trampas Demers started the Race in 1st and 2nd and only one of them finished in that spot. The 85 of Trampas claimed 1st, Dave Whitcomb #25 took 2nd and Dennis Demers # 86 finished 3rd.

Flying Tigers and the Power Shift Junk Yard Warriors shared the rest of the evening. Flying Tiger Rookie Mike Ziter, # 26 who finished 3rd in Heat 2 Qualifying was able to take a 2nd place finish in the Feature race. Last, after not being able to race the Feature in the previous race at Thunder Road, Power Shift's driver # 30, Mike Gay finished a strong 5th in last nights Feature for the Power Shift Junk Yard Warriors. I was able to take some pictures last night and will have them up soon.
